This 'town house' is in a 'Portofino like' complex of uneven tiled roofs and pastel Mediterranean colours, set in an award winning garden on the sea edge. The elegant sitting-room leads out through French windows to a secluded private patio garden. The dining-room area with its rosewood furniture opens onto a shady veranda with a tiny hedged garden overlooking a rocky cove. The kitchenette is modern and fully equipped. Up the terra-cotta stairs are two bedrooms with built in cupboards. One has a double bed and an en-suite marble-clad bathroom and a spacious balcony from which to watch the sun setting over Alcudia Bay. The other room has twin beds and windows with shutters looking out at the rugged mountains and the rising sun. This room has a separate marble-clad bathroom.

Residencial Betlem is set between mountains and sea at the ruggedly beautiful northern end of the island. Although only within 25 minutes of the busy beaches and night life of resorts such as Pollensa, it is set in quiet countryside near the sleepy fishing village of Colonia de Sant Pere with its tiny marina and pleasant restaurants looking out over the Bay of Alcudia.
Other activities:
Apart from the listed local sporting facilities this is an excellent area (between swimming in the indoor or outdoor pool) for walking, or bird watching in the cooler seasons. There is also plenty to keep artists, photographers and historians happy.
Restaurants and shopping:
There are many pleasant and some very excellent restaurants in the area. Two are within walking distance of the property in Betlem itself. Colonia de Sant Pere has four or five and Arta has a boulevard with several more and some hidden in the old cobbled back streets. The market in Arta on Tuesdays is famous for its variety of stalls and the fresh produce in the market hall. Colonia de Sant Pere has two useful grocery shops. At the height of season the complex organises outdoor food and bar-b-qs on the patio above the pool.
Golf Information
There are five first class golf courses in the area - one only 12 minutes away near the historic town of Arta. They are: Polensa, Capdepera, Canyamel, Son Severa, and Pula.
