The villa is in a quiet mountain setting with stunning views. The garden has 4 terraces & a large barbecue area. 2 balconies & terraces look down onto a farm which climbs to forests of Olive,Oak & Pine trees. No need for the car,set off from the house for many wonderful walks. The house is comfortable, relaxing & well equipped. The garden is south facing with plenty of space for sun-bathing & wining & dining al fresco.

Note:
Because the house is set on a mountainside the main terrace of the garden has a very high drop to the terrace below & although it is fenced we do not think it is suitable for children under the age of 6 years.

The Costa Brava true to it's name has a spectacular rugged coastline with wonderful walks alternating with expansive sandy bays, great for swimming & sunbathing. Platja D'Aro close by is a bustling seaside town with great shopping, entertainment & dusk till dawn night life. There are many local restaurants offering terrific value lunch menus or try the more adventurous places for modern Catalan cuisine. The daily market in Palamos is teeming with locally caught fresh fish & other produce or you can buy your fish direct from the boats in the harbour. There are also supermarkets & local shops within easy reach.

Around Calonge & further afield there is great scope for culture vultures, art architecture, music, history re; Gerona, Barcelona & local towns. There are many fiestas & cultural events in & around Calonge & many interesting & delightful small towns & villages within easy reach, Palafrugell, Pals, Sant feliu, Peratallada & many more. The villa & immediate surroundings
The villa is in the urbanisation of Vizcondado de Cabanyes in a mountain setting. The garden looks down onto a farm cut through by a stream then climbs the valley to forests of Pine Oak & olive trees. Take a short walk to the farm for wonderful fresh eggs. Ten minutes walk away is the sports centre 'Cabanyes Sport' with one large & one medium swimming pool, tennis courts, other sports facilities, bar & restaurant. A 35 minute walk will take you to Calonge through pretty countryside, to the local bars, cafes & restaurants. Don't forget the excellent golf courses close by.
