The swimming pool, which is 52ft long, 18ft wide and 9ft at the deep end, is set on the large lawn in front of the farmhouse with a fantastic panoramic view of the valley. There are sunbeds and a shaded area under the mulberry trees with table and chairs. The owners, who live on the bottom terrace, will be on hand should help or advice be required, but every effort will be taken to ensure your privacy and make this a very special holiday.
THE VILLAGE
Picturesque Monferrer village, which is only a short walk, is now appearing in many tourist guides because of its old Romanesqu church and its spectacular views of the valley and coast. Although, very small, it has a bar/restaurant, summer shop, swimming pool, crazy golf, children's play area and tennis court.
THE REGION
On both sides of the border there are may coastal resorts, from picturesque fishing villages to large towns. During the summer months there are numerous events and concerts of all types. The valley, although close to Spain and the Mediterranean sea, does not suffer the problems of mass tourism, and is a beautiful unspoilt part of the South of France, in fact, the furthest south one can go - a true undiscovered treasure - 'the lost valley'!
