Each has a balcony or terrace, some with views over the village, others overlooking the bay. Changeover day is a Saturday Maid service is not included in the above rental rates from 1st November 2002 to 31st March 2003. If maid service is required during this period this can be arranged by separate negotiation.
The nearest golf course to Salema is at Parque da Floresta, some 2kms away. Guests have the benefit of temporary membership at the Quinta da Boavista golf club near Lagos during their stay. There are several further golf clubs in the Lagos area, notably the coastal club at Palmares and the international course at the Penina Hotel. Pedalos and small boats can be hired from the beach at Salema, whilst all water-sports activities are catered for at Luz Bay some 15 minutes from salema. The new marina at Lagos has the usual facilities for boat hire, bareboat charters and deep sea fishing. Other sporting activities such as tennis, squash, bowls etc are available at the nearby resort of Burgau. There is also a Health Spa at Parque da Floresta.
Local Nightlife
In Salema village there are several restaurants serving regional cuisine and locally caught seafood. In addition there are several bars in the village but that is the extent of the nightlife. For those seeking more lively entertainment it is necessary to travel to Lagos, some 15kms away, the regional town of the Algarve. Here there is a wide choice of restaurants, bars discotheques and night-clubs to satisfy all tastes.
Places of Interest
The Algarve is a beautiful area of Portugal and no visit would be complete without a trip to Cape St Vincent, the southernmost tip of Europe where the Atlantic ocean meets the Mediterranean. Monichique, a mountain Spa north of Portimao is well worth a visit to experience the magnificent views to the south and the Atlantic to the west. The beautiful wild Atlantic coast is undeveloped and is approached through dense pinewoods to the north of Vila da Bispo. Closer to the villa, for the more energetic, are the magnificent coastal walks along cliff-tops passing through unspoilt countryside with magnificent views along the coast.

Guests at the apartments have the benefit of temporary membership at the Quinta da Boavista golf club near Lagos. Other courses within easy reach of the apartments include, Parque da Floresta, Palmares, famous for its annual Almond Blossom tournament in early February, and the three courses at Penina.
