Bulli Pass Scenic Reserve
The Reserve has three main tourist centres: Sublime Point Lookout, Bulli Lookout and Golden View Lookout. The Reserves are located on the top of the escarpment with direct access off the Princes Highway. Facilities at the centres include spectacular lookouts, kiosks, picnic facilities, toilets and playground equipment. Tracks connect the centres and extend north from Sublime Point. From Bulli Lookout, more than 340 metres above sea level, a superb panorama of Wollongong and its golden coastline can be seen. In the Sydney Mail in 1906 this panorama was described as being "a triumph of nature - opulent in panoramic beauty. There is a great expanse of country from where the range encroaches upon the coast north of Bulli, till the heights flanking Kiama end of the sea line. Thus the golden sands of the coast, crimping in and out, between the points, and white tipped on the outer edge with the breaking surf, appear in an almost unbroken length". (
