Lots to do and see
Our beach fronted house here in Cotentin and Bessin Marshlands regional natural park, with Utah beach on the eastern side and coast. The area is in stunning countryside and completely different each season, in winter the marshlands flood to create beautiful scenes with the big skys reflected in the water, the summer are pasture with cows peacefully grazing. The East coast is slightly wilder than the west coast and very unspoilt, here on Utah the famous french Trotting Horses are trained everyday on the beach, there is a bird sanctuary with an amazing number of different species, a colony of seals, mussels and oysters are harvested right opposite our house. Yet in the summer the beach is paradise, miles and miles of golden sands a perfect spot for a peaceful read, a sun bathe or a busy day with the family on the beach, beach combing, shell fish gathering when the tide is out, it's safe to swim and it's not crowded.
The house is undergoing a major transformation
and will be finished for May this year. We are installing new bathrooms, refurbishing bedrooms, creating the garden and generally creating a very comfortable home from home property for holidays. All the linen, duvets, bedding etc is new and of a high standard. The house will be to the same standards possibly higher than our other beach fronted house property number 7114.
