Girona is situated in North Eastern Spain, close to the border of France. The City of Girona is a very interesting and beautiful place with many historical sites and Museums to visit.

The medieval village of Calonge is situated inland and is twinned with the coastal town of San Antonio with it´s excellent beach and rugged landscape. Beaches vary from long sandy bays to small sheltered coves, such as Calella de Palafrugell, Tamariu and Llafranc.

There are excellent restaurants to be found locally offering a selection of fresh fish and meat dishes and a variety of good wines and sparkling cavas to accompany any meal.
