The house is in an excellent location beside the magnificent sandy beach on the outskirts of the village of Zahara de los Atunes. A minute's walk through the dunes brings you to the beach, which is broad and flat with clear shallow water, making it ideal for families. There are two outside terraces on the top floor, both with sea views, and a sheltered patio area at the front of the house fully equipped with terrace furniture. The interior of the house is light, newly decorated, and comfortably furnished. The house is an easy five-minute walk away from the village centre, where there are several shops and a good selection of bars and restaurants serving freshly caught fish.

On the top floor there are two terraces, both with sea views. There is also a further sleeping area (open plan) suitable for one person. There are extra chairs (including two padded sun chairs) and an additional table for use on the upstairs terraces - enjoy a glass of wine looking out across the sea to Morocco.

Zahara is a coastal village situated on a magnificent sandy beach and set against an attractive rural backdrop of fields and hills. It is easily reached from the airports at Jerez ,Gibraltar and Malaga . The area around Zahara remains natural and unspoilt, and is good for bird watching.

Zahara is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday - you can swim, sunbathe and walk for miles along the golden sand. The sea is often a turquoise blue and the sunsets spectacular. In the evening stroll into the village and enjoy a delicious fish meal at one of the many restaurants.
Exploring the area
Drive to the pretty hilltop town of Vejer (15 mins), the historic city of Cadiz ( 1 hour) or spend some time in Tarifa (30 mins ),an ancient Moorish town which is the most southerly point in Europe. From Tarifa you can take a ferry to Tangiers in Morocco (only 35 mins) or go on a boat trip to view whales and dolphins. There are the remains of a Roman settlement at nearby Bolonia - it is possible to walk there along the coast from Atlanterra (approx 3 kms from Zahara). Take this walk in Springtime and enjoy the abundance of wild flowers. The city of Seville is a drive of approximately 2 hrs.
